Practical guides
Three ways to get the most from Perspectiv Sites.
Pick a guide to set up knowledge for your team.
Guide 01
Plan your Workspaces
Decide how your knowledge is grouped and who can see it, before you write.
- Start with a Workspace per audience.Internal, product, department, client or partner, each with a manager.
- Group Spaces into Collections.Collections keep related Spaces together, such as everything for one product.
- Draw access at the Space.A Space is the access boundary: decide who reads, writes and publishes there.
- Use the guided setup.A new Workspace can create its first Site and a starting set of Collections and Spaces.
Guide 02
Write pages people use
Make pages easy to scan, easy to trust and easy to keep up to date.
- Use headings. They build the "On this page" outline readers navigate with.
- Use callouts for what matters.Warnings, tips and must-dos stand out from the text.
- Give every page an owner. And a review cycle, so it shows up in content health when it is due.
- Start from a template. For pages you write often, such as runbooks or meeting notes.
Guide 03
Publish your first Site
Put the right Spaces in front of the right readers.
- Choose the Spaces or sections.A Site carries only what you choose.
- Limit it to member groups.People, groups, roles, legal entities or worker types.
- Preview it as a reader.Check the navigation exactly as a given person will see it.
- Publish the changed pages. Then download a static copy if people need it offline.
